Another comment
on Dust and remedies on the market.
This is actually long overdue....bough that stuff long ago already.
As once described in April already one method of getting rid of
the dust is with fluid and special cloth. However I thought things
can still be improved and got myself the "Sensor Brush"
and "Giotto Air-Rocket". Wow, was I in for a surprise when the stuff arrived and I checked
that "Sensor Brush"... What a crap tool that is. I thought
I completely ruined the senor now. Nothing of antistatic or whatsoever.
I never touched the brush once with my fingers yet it smeared my
sensor like hell - Finally I got it clean again with my sensor fluid...
Now on the other
side however the Air Rocket I must say is the coolest thing ever.
Not only the kids love it to play around with it...but also it really
works like a charm. So far I have actually not used my sensor fluid
method anymore. A few strong blows from the Air rocket and the sensor
and chamber are dust free. It also is superb for cleaning lenses,
filters, etc...
Highly recommended, super cheap and you can bring it on vacation
with you on the plane (try to bring sensor fluid in your hand luggage
nowadays - definitely not a good idea!)
